Director of Government Marketing and Sales

Innovative and driven to help A2A market products into the Commercial and U.S. Federal Government markets. The Marketing and Sales Director is responsible for the development, adaptation, and implementation of the US commercial and government strategy for A2A's collaborative organization. Accountable for optimization of sales, market share, revenue growth, and profitability in both the short and long term.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military ID (DOD-CAC) card (retired, reserve, guard, or retired spouse) to access military installations.
  • Knowledge of Federal procurement methods. (Government Purchase Card, FSS, DOD, MILSTRIP).

Government Account Manager (VA/DOD)

Bottom Line Up Front

  • Create, develop, and maintain marketing strategies and sales for our organization and our product portfolio.

New Sales activities

  • Utilize existing contract customers to generate sales opportunities throughout the Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Defense, and Other Government Agencies. Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals. Answer questions regarding service and account information, and probe for additional business opportunities. Sustain monthly call goals as expectations dictate.

Account Management and Maintenance Activities

  • Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase customer base. Complete Customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews. Provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal offers. Supervise and resolve customer issues. Track individual account activity and results. The Government Account Manager is focused on developing new customers while expanding current customers to meet our overall goals.
