Return Goods Policy

Official Return Goods Policy

A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals Return Goods Policy overrides all other Return Goods Policies from distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, retailers, clinics and hospitals.

Return Authorization is required to return A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals products. Products will not be credited without a Return Authorization and credit will only be issued if it is within the terms of the return policy. Return Authorizations expire thirty (30) days from date issued.

Returnable Items:

The following products purchased in the US are returnable for returned goods credit consideration with prior approval:

Short-dated merchandise, in the original manufacturer’s container/packaging and bearing the original manufacturer’s label, within 6 months of the expiration date printed on each product.
Expired merchandise, in the original manufacturer’s container/packaging and bearing the original manufacturer’s label, up to 12 months beyond the expiration date printed on each product.
Product shipped directly that is damaged in transit, subject to FOB terms, or material shipped in error by A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals.
All products must be returned to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals in order to be considered for credit.
Discontinued, withdrawn, or recalled merchandise.

 

Non-Returnable Items (No Credit will be issued):

All products other than those listed above shall be deemed non-returnable. Non-returnable products include, without limitation:

Products with more than 6 months expiration dating remaining on the package/container.
Products dated more than 12 months beyond the expiration date noted on the package/container.
Packages/containers with labels added to or removed from original manufactured package/containers.
Repackaged product.
Product that has been in a fire, clearance, bankruptcy, or similar sale.
Product sold on “non-returnable” terms.
Merchandise purchased or otherwise obtained in violation of any federal, state, or local law or regulation.
Merchandise destroyed or damaged from causes such as fire, water, tornado, or other catastrophe and merchandise that has otherwise deteriorated due to conditions occurring after shipment and beyond the control of A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals such as improper storage or handling, heat, cold, smoke, and so forth.
No partials will be accepted for credit; with the exception of the States that regulate returned goods. Partial goods include broken safety seals either inside or outside of each package/container.
Products destroyed off-site or otherwise that have not been returned to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals.
Products returned with illegible or missing lot number and/or expiration date.
Products packaged in vials, tubes, and bags that have been opened for use.

 

Recalls:

Recalls must follow procedures set forth by Recall Guidance per FDA-Manufacter and may be obtained by faxing your request to (844) 900-6001 or emailing your request to: Recalls@A2A-AllianceRx.com

Must be returned separately from expired products.

Controlled Substance Returns:

Controlled Substance (CII) returns require DEA Form 222 to be submitted along with the Return Authorization (RA) as part of the return authorization process. Controlled Substances must be returned in accordance with Federal and State regulations regarding the movement of CII substances.

    Please include a copy of the Returning Registrant’s DEA license in order to verify eligibility.

 

Damaged in Shipping and Shortages:

Products received damaged may be returned for full credit when reported in writing to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals within 72 hours of receipt. Please have the Transportation Company note “damaged” on freight bill.
A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals must authorize damaged product returns and issue an RGA.
Upon request, buyer shall furnish such documentation as required for A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals to recover loss from the carrier.
Upon receipt of product, customers are requested to verify quantities of units received against original shipping documents by performing a physical count. Any discrepancies must be reported to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals within ten (10) days of receipt, at which time the A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals Regulatory/Quality Assurance Department may initiate an investigation.

 

Procedure for Returning Items:

  • All returnable products must be returned to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals at the following address:

  • Returns of A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals products must include a packing list containing the following information:
    Name, address, DEA number (CII product only), and contact information of facility returning product
    Customer name, address, and contact information
    Wholesaler name and address, Wholesale Account # (if applicable)
    Reference number
    Reason for return
    Listing of products
    NDC
    Product Description
    Package Size
    Lot Number
    Expiration Date
    Qty
    GTIN
    Serial No
    Wholesaler Item # (if applicable)
    RGA Number

    All returns shall be made in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. All charges associated with processing and destruction of return goods by A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals-approved returned goods service contractor shall be paid by A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals. All other charges (i.e., transportation, processing fees) charged by any third party shall be the responsibility of the customer and shall not be reimbursed by A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals. A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals products returned outside these policy guidelines will not be returned and no credit will be issued.

     

Terms:

The following products purchased in the US are returnable for returned goods credit consideration with prior approval:

Reimbursements will be issued based on the Wholesale acquisition cost (WAC) at the time of return.
Credits expire one-hundred eighty (180) days from date issued.
Reimbursement will be made in the form of a credit memo applied to customer’s current account balance or future purchases. Credits will be issued to direct accounts only. Indirect customers such as retail and hospital pharmacies will receive credit through their servicing wholesaler.
A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals will not issue credit or accept charges/deductions for administrative, handling, or freight charges associated with the return of product to A2A Alliance Pharmaceuticals.
Credit or reimbursement will not be issued for product destroyed by customer or third parties.
Credit will not be extended when the intent is to temporarily reduce inventory.
